School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D Y Patil Deemed to be University has helped me hone my skills - be it practical or theoretical, in ways more than one.

I am immensely grateful for the teaching staff who are very supportive and always willing to help the students. The syllabus is well curated, in tandem with the knowledge that students are expected to have acquired once they have passed out of college.

Overall, my experience with the college has been a splendid one.

Small campus but maintained in good condition. Some of great courses offered here like Industrial microbiology, genetic engineering, food science and technology which is rarely any other university provide in Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai. Fees structure is little bit high, which is reasonable because of facilities and instruments they have. This college have nearly all instruments which are necessary for biotechnology and molecular biology. College also have department of bioinformatics which is emerging field of biotechnology. Canteen is good, staffs and faculty are very much helpful. Encouraging and happy environment of the college motivates the student. Director of this college is very helpful, understanding and have positive kind of personality! All class room have both chalkboard and white board facility. Empowered by DyPatil University!
