Having heard so much about BBK, I was keen to try their food and today seemed like a good day to do so. Ordered Gosht Keema Parathas and Malamaal Murg Biryani. The order arrived pretty much on time, thankfully the packing was intact and the quality of packaging materials used is good. The clay pot utensils used for cooking of the dum biryani is lovely and so is the accompanying Aanch that one is supposed to light the provided tee lights to warm the clay pot containing the biryani. The Recycling theme is noteworthy.
The accompaniments were in the form of 2 types of Raitas, Salan and Onions, all packed separately in small plastic containers. BBK should re think on their packaging keeping their claypot theme in mind!
Gosht Keema Parathas - 3/5
While the taste is good, the keema stuffing is insufficient and eating just maida parathas by themselves is no fun at all. Good for a 1 time try.
Malamaal Murg Biryani - 5/5
Excellent taste, texture and quality of the marinated chicken, to accompany the rice and birista. I enjoyed a commercial biryani after a really long time, so Bravo to the chefs of BBK.
This will only lead me to try their other biryanis in the near future.
I only hope that the experience had with the biryani is met with in future as well.

Recently ordered in a meal from Biryani By Kilo’s vashi branch. Even though their outlet is a little far away from my location; the delivery time was quick and the food still remained warm, without any spillages.

We tried the Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, Chicken Ghee Roast and Matka Phirni.
The Biryani was served in a clay pot, with a quantity sufficient enough for two people. The chicken was very well-cooked and the overall flavours were mesmerising. This one’s a medium-spicy dish, although tastes great with mirchi salan which they serve along with the biryani.

The Chicken Ghee Roast turned out to be our absolute favourite! It’s spicy and tangy flavours were so good, we really enjoyed every bite of it. The quantity seemed slightly less, but the restaurant ensured making up for that with it’s taste.

Moving forward to dessert, the Matka Phirni tasted amazing! It’s creamy, rich flavour gave our meal a perfect ending. We’d certainly recommend trying it out.

For the price they charge, and quality of food & prompt delivery- this place certainly deserves more recognition. Definitely re-ordering soon, and might as well try their other exquisite variety of Biryanis.

Finally BBK is now in Vashi to satisfy your biryani pangs. As heard a lot from my friends for its biryani, ordered chicken Hyderabadi Biryani, phirni and chicken 65.
The packaging was spill proof and neatly packed. I love the concept of matka and serving the food hot for which they provide a earthern container in which candles are lit on which one can heat the biryani while enjoying it.

Chicken Hyderabadi biryani - The biryani has right amount of spices without an overpowering taste of any ingredient. It was garnished with fried onions. There were big chunks of chicken nicely marinated in the masalas succulent enough. The rice had absorbed the aroma which is a sign of a good biryani. Served with raita and salan.

2) chicken 65 - This dish was all crisp and soggy with batter covered chicken pieces. Spicy as I like it with slight taste of coriander.

3) phirni - loved the consistency and loved the presentation of it which is served in a small size matka. It isnt too sweet and had almonds in it.
