The Zero Mile Stone is a monument located in the city of Nagpur, Maharashtra. It is a small stone pillar that marks the geographical center of India. The monument was erected during the British colonial era in 1907 and was originally used to measure all distances in India. Given stars is not for the mile stone but it's for the condition of this place. Unbelievable the way have killed here. This place should have more authentic and beautiful structureed and eye catching considering the value and history but unfortunately it's not.
Very disappointed after seeing this
But guys everyone should have aware of this place and must visit after knowing its value and history.
Must visit if you are going to visit Nagpur.

This is a place situated in nagpur which is known as the geographical centre of India.

The Zero Mile Stone consists of a pillar made up of sandstone and another small stone representing the GTS Standard Bench Mark, and four stucco horses that were added later. Distances from Zero Mile in Nagpur to places are marked on the hexagonal base of the pillar.

This place is relatively small and situated in between the signal. At just fee meters away from it, a zero milestone freedom park is inaugurated recently. It’s basically a metro railway station with some amusements.

Beautifully maintained small park at the historically significant place, where we can spend quality time for a while. It can be waiting place for who get down at zero mile metro station. It is directly connected with zero mile metro station.
