The congress nagar area used to be a favourite spot for Britishers who built their houses here for the shear closeness to the Ajni Station as most of them were railway officers. Today a handful of these colonial bungalows are still remaining that date back upto 1850s. Most of them are either disputed properties or are resided by new owners who were lucky enough to buy the properties from the Britishers.
One of them is this private villa thats pristinely maintained. Notice the bright white windows, doors, railings & the the way the entrance is designed. A little bit of the french architecture has been used in designing this bungalow. A closer look at the property, definitely takes one back in time.
