One of the Best!!
However since I've graduated in 2019, the senior most faculty of this department have retired. These faculty members were one of the best and brightest Maharashtra had to offer and have groomed entire batches of engineers on how to think - which goes a long way in anyone's career.

Unfortunately, If you are thinking of joining this course now, please do your research on the current faculty here and talk with them before deciding to join. Deciding to join just because its VJTI might not be the best decision - unless you are only interested in the brand image. Companies looking to hire engineers give much lower preference to Masters - MCA & MTECH alike - learned this the very hard way! So do your research on whether doing CDAC/any other course might be a better alternative for you as well.

I've had very sweet memories during my Masters days here. Loved it!!! No questions asked!

Infrastructure is OK, kinda old. Classrooms are quite old. Labs are not so old, and have decent computers. Teaching is normal (as you can expect from any other college). Placements are good, no doubt about that. Many companies come and offer placements, so there are abundant opportunities. But from an academic point of view, it could have been much better, unfortunately most faculty are not up to date with recent technology trends and can only teach legacy content properly. Students have to do most of the things on their own. Overall, I'd say its good for placements and degree (given VJTI has a good reputation and strong alumni network), but not the best for academics
