We all love tasty food, but everytime we feel the guilt of munching out extra calories. The Light Kitchen is a health + taste delivery kitchen based in Powai. The main motto here is to provide quality, healthy and tasty food with a very affordable price tag. Check out the dishes we tried...

Bruscetta
Its a crunchy, gluten-free, multigrain bread topped with tomatoes, herbs, olive oil and cheddar. Its perfect in taste, and healthy by heart. It doesnt get soggy easily and are the best thing for your breakfast. We loved this quick bite you get here.

Grilled Veggie Skewers
The skewers were amazing. I havent tasted a skewer which tastes this good. Its a colorful combination of grilled bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli and mushroom which is served with an assortment of dips (cheesy and salsa)

La Crepe Nutella
The chocolate buckwheat crepe has Banana and Nutella filled inside the buckwheat roll which is totally gluten free. It tastes like heaven and it is very light on your stomach.

Blueberry smoothie
They use soy milk which is totally low in fats and high on protein. Blueberries are added and crushed to the core with fresh yogurt to make it low on fat. The shake is thick and gives a bit of a tangy taste with crushed blueberries in between. A must have here.

Chef's Paneer Curry
The Paneer Curry is made of yogurt and not creame, making it a very healthy option making it fat free. They use Amul Paneer only making it totally hygienic for you. They serve Multigrain, Jowar and Bajra Roti which are totally gluten free.

Hello foodies, light kitchen is delivery kitchen and located near chakala metro station.and easily accessible.sitting arrangement was in pharaoh pub.

Quality and quantity of this restaurant is fulfilling.if your office is in chakala or andheri then must order food from this restaurant.you would love this. This kitchen use only high fresh veggies and they prepare everything fresh.

I personally visited this kitchen and to be frank Hygienic is well maintained.

Now let's come to the main point "food"
Well the most important point about any restaurant , cafe or lounge is food. And light house provides clean and hygienic food. With better taste. Let's have a look what we had.

• peanut butter smoothie - highly recommended
- it was mixture of peanut butter , milk , ice and sugar
- perfect sweet and gave chilled feel in stomach

• chocolate crunch smoothie -
- amazing taste and perfect amount of sweetness

• egg chicken roll - highly recommended
- This was my most favorite dish
- chicken was perfectly cooked and blended with veggies

• paneer grilled roll -
- it was so heavy and heavily loaded with stuffing.
- it contains paneer , onion , cabbage , tomato , capsicum , herbs and spices.

• roasted chicken leg piece -
- This was amazing and perfectly roasted and coated in Chinese gravy
- it was having Amazing garlicy flavor and served with stirr fried capsicum and zucchini.

• chef special egg curry and roti - must try
- perfect spices and well cooked eggs in curry.
- roti was hot and tasty

• palak chicken and roti -
- chicken was well cooked in palak curry.
- curry was delicious and tempting.

The Light Kitchen also offers dine-in, but the seatings are offered at Bohemia Lounge. I was here with my mate for takeaway, that's when one of their servant got me this thing in the notice.

My personal favourite here is their Chicken Delight Sandwich- very soft, Grilled Chicken pieces Stuffed with tomatoes, chesse and onions between the two toast breads with a buttery layer at the top.

Avacado Roll- this one has got a structure like shawrma but the covering is of roti and inside is the avacado, veggies and lots of cheese, goes great with the dip. It also come on a bed of pink cabbage.

In mains, Mixed Vegetables is something you can opt if you are looking something light to have. It has got lots of veggies in it and especially cucumber. Nice and creamy paste with chopped and sliced vegetables inside will got well with the basic roti.

I came across SEWAIYA in sweets, which is really rare to find this days, except festive season. They also get you garnish of dry fruits at the top + they don't use sugar, it's made inside honey.
