After hearing a lot about Puchka (pani puri), I went to have last night. For me it was pathetic. Water was made of just lot of jeera powder and chilli. It had no tangy/sweet or any taste as such.
Would not recommend Puchka at all.

Reply to Singarwala comment: Thats is exactly what I wrote in reveiew, there was no taste of tamrind at all. I am aware what is the taste of KOLKATA FUCHKA. The water just had roasted jeera, no tamrind and neither any kaafir lime.
Just putting out the list of ingredients does not necessarily mean that you have used it in your preparation.
It is very convenient to say everyone has their own taste and that it is different than Mumbai taste. But I am sure you knew that while opening the shop in Mumbai city right.

Chicken biryani was good but mutton biryani leaves much to be desired. mutton pieces were dry, stringy and flavorless. Moreover I have a feeling that they are using a fake GSTIN 27AWKB7612H1ZL to charge extra 10% GST. This GSTIN does not appear on the official GST Portal

My search for authentic Kolkata phuchka (Bong variant of paani puri) in Mumbai ended here. Loved the taste and would look at trying the other items now.
