A cafe with a very classy yet warm vibe is Monèr. Simply loved it from the moment I walked in. The glass on the wwalls to give the illusion of space, the arches in the seating areas and the best piece of illusion is just above the display counter giving the feeling of a mezzanine seating too. The staff is warm and friendly giving you suggestions without enforcing their choices on you. Tried out the Tiramisu which came in the shape of a coffee bean, cchocolate chip cookie, and hazelnut coffee. Great place to chill with friends. Small but not cramped. Flipside, parking is a issue.

Hands down the most incredible and delicious high tea experience we’ve had. We sat for the “Afternoon High Tea” experience on a weekday. Make sure to call at least one day in advance so they can begin to prepare your pastries and savories the night before. High quality, diverse selection of tea is served alongside your choice of two tiered or three tiered platters mixing expertly-crafted sweet and savory finger foods. Each three tier platter comes at a reasonable cost and is plenty of food for 2 people. The owner/chef Freny herself introduced the platters and described the flavor profiles/expected mouthfeel of each. Great food, great ambience, personalized service -u003e incredible experience

After studying at The Culinary Institute of America, working with multiple Michelin star restaurants in New York, Chef Freny Fernandes launched her baby Monèr, a bistro in the day, serving a wide range of savoury items covering breakfast and mains. But post 7:00pm it turns into a contemporary dessert bar serving three to five course plated desserts. The white walls, minimalistic furniture, plush velvet seating in teal & pink will remind you of France.

We tried some savoury delicacies & desserts. To begin with..
1. Gnudi is a gnocchi like dumplings made of ricotta cheese in tomato butter, sage, brown butter, micro greens & pumpkin seeds. It was light and soft but the gravy was bursting with flavours.
2. Beetroot Risotto - a classic creamy Italian rice dish with a not so sweet beetroot taste.
3. Spicy Tropical Sangria - a cocktail inspired by raw mango and topped with jalapeño and tobacco. A super refreshing drink to beat the heat this summer.
4. Dawn in the Meadows - an Italian inspired dessert. Granita made with green apple & zesty keffir lime, meringue kisses, micro greens & pumpkin seeds. The dessert depicts the the first few drops of the day (meringue pieces) on the grass (granita). The minty icy granite is so refreshing, that it sets the palate for the next dessert.
5. Phases of moon - Yummy, crescent shaped vanilla sable, topped with spheres made of 60% chocolate ganache, grey ice-cream & berry compote to give that tangy taste to your buds.
6. Jardin au Rose, a big red rose shaped parfait in the centre and surrounded by…its a raspberry & rose parfait accompanied with pistachio baklava, air cake, chocolate soil & edible flowers. Undoubtedly, it looked splendid and left me reluctant to dig in.

This instagramable place has a wall art themed on la vie en rose. Definitely a must visit place.
