Worth the trip to say youve been.
There is a fee to enter but it is minimal and if you go with a guide it’s usually covered.
It is a straight for historical place where you will need to read through most of the history. My guide let me know that the home as it stands today is not the home of Gandhi. There are photos on one of the floors that show you what it was like when he was there.
This location is more of a representation of his work and what he stood for.

A hidden treasure in Mumbai that should get more advertising for tourist who want to know more about the life of Gandhi. The building is well kept & maintained. There is a huge libary there which people can access. It is good to go in there with a local guide who can guide you through the building. The place has been kept as it was when Gandhi used to live there. An eye opening experience ????????

It's a quaint bungalow, immaculately kept. It has lots of pictures, dioramas, books, utensils, clothes, stamps, etc. of Gandhiji.
It's very peaceful and serene.
It's a heritage of Mumbai and is a must visit.
