LP was praised to the sky,
Got drawn-in by those lies,
We tired reading the mega-menu,
Examples of good food we found very few
LP is a perfect example of reputation running far ahead of reality. The place is supposedly an 'institution' and you go in with high expectations. Then your first interaction with one of the elderly waiters happens and this person has nothing to offer in terms of suggestions on either the kind of food you should order or the quantity, in any language. He's just there to write down whatever you say and pass it on to the kitchen. The result is that you've picked the exact things you should avoid and have ordered enough to feed two tables. No doubt some things are really good - the Fried Corn Curd and the Bacon-wrapped Prawns - but those were things I came prepared with. None of the things we ordered from the menu made much of an impression. The entire staff is stoic, like they have some "no smiles" policy. And they're unhelpful. Period. I'll take my custom elsewhere, thank you. You obviously don't have a shortage of regulars. The toilets are really really clean.

Authentic Chinese food is served here. But those having indian tastebuds may not like it as much as any other Chinese restaurant. The ambiance is above average. Well built interiors. Absolutely loved the Chinese chopseuy served there, mongolian chicken was very well cooked. The variety of sauce served were really well appreciates. Good staff. Overall, definitely a must try place but I wouldn't wanna go there one more time.

Awesome authentic Indo-Chinese cuisine. Perfect fusion cuisine which retains the basic character of Cantonese dishes but slightly modified for the Indian pallet. Rustic ambience. Well planned menu with many-many options. Service was excellent and they explained what each dish entails so that we could decide what we wanted... Also the suggestions were on point... quantity was appropriate. Must visit for a true "Bombay food experience".
