A very good place with super nice people.
I had three different dishes and they all taste really really good. I can recommend the place.
As i didn't really know the local food, i asked the owner to suprise me. He did this with very tasty dishes. I can fully recommend this place for every traveller who would like to taste local mumbai cuisine.

After checking out a lot of reviews from Zomato and Google, i thought I'd give it a try here. Hence I went today and ordered:
Masala Chaas
MISAL paav
Masala bhat
Kharwas
And to be honest the food wasn't that good in terms of taste. The hype i saw and that led me here, i was disappointed. So if you wanna give it a shot and try you can go ahead. But trust me if you're ever visiting South Mumbai/bombay i can recommend 2 places for eating good Maharashtrian food and that would be Vinay (near Bhuleshwar) and Aaram (opposite CSMT station) which i feel is better than Ladu Samrat.
PS - This is just my review/opinion so no offense to anyone!

This is one of the oldest restaurants in lalbaug (Veg).
They serve very good authentic Maharashtrian food.
Over the years they have maintained the quality of food with good service.
Probably one of the good places of having a quick bite.
