On the Bengali new year, we went out for dinner at Kolkata Heshel, the food was awesome, ambience was great, we loved it. Generally we Bengali carve for good food outside Bengal and Herr is something which is affordable and loveable food

If you are looking for authentic Bengali food in Malad, Goregaon area this is the place. The service is really good, very friendly and welcoming people. You get a variety of Bengali dishes both in veg & non veg. My personal favourites are their fish thali, fish fry, basanti pulaw, labRa, murgir jhol with aloo, shukto etc. They serve the Kolkata biriyani as well but not that great I would say compared to the other dishes.

Serves very delicious and authentic bengali food. Very quiet and peaceful place. And the food takes you back to your roots with the aroma and taste. Quantity is good enough for two person. Price is reasonable. Will visit again to try their other items.
