Kala Ghoda is a cresent-moon shaped area in the Colaba area of Bombay, that is home to the art district of the metropolis. The surrounding area hosts some of Bombay's oldest heritage buildings, and educational institutions.
The Kala Ghoda is now the statue of a black riderless horse, and is titled the 'Spirit of Kala Ghoda' and was commissioned by the Kala Ghoda Association.
The area hosts the Kala Ghoda Art Festival in February every year.
