I visited there in month of January
Guided tour is there when you want to go inside the film city that starts from the Main gate u need to buy tickets from the counter.

The tour will be in the bus ???? where they will show the famous spots where shootings take place of different movies, tv shows etc.
Also the bus stops at some of the famous locations of film city one of them is Film City famous temple.

If you are lucky enough you can get a glimpse of shooting as well that totally varies time to time.

Love my visit to the film city
It's was an amazing experience.

Filmcity was shown for 2 hours for 1000 rupees. The charge is too much, nothing special inside...If going for enjoyment then it is pointless to go, better take time out at some beach in Mumbai... can't take photos in shooting areas everything is not good...

Review of: Mumbai Filmcity Tours

I booked this tour through Time Out Mumbai - I thought it is something to do when I have only one day to spend in Mumbai - if it starts at noon and picks me up at the hotel as booking site claimed.

After purchasing tickets and realized there's many missing details, I contacted the only number written on the ticket - no replies, until the day before the tour, now claiming it only has 4:30pm spot and I'd have to self-drive to the location (which was one hour away) - which was impossible for my logistics. I said that's not what I signed up for and demanded to cancel with full refund.

The person keeps dodging my request, saying she'd have to talk to "Viator" and apparently she is just being in the middle and cannot do anything. I kept asking her that I'd like to speak to Viator so give me their info - no replies.

Of course, they kept my $49 and no signs of refund whatsoever, and I still do not know how to contact them to claim it. So here I'm writing, hoping that they'd see this review and contact me, and also to warn people who consider doing this tour.
