My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and was treated by Dr Nikhilesh Borkar. He had explained the various options that we had very clearly and exhaustively. He operated on my mother and the operative and perioperative period was very comfortable and uneventful. She didn't suffer any post operative complications. The follow up also was very complete and thorough.
We had a very good experience in Reliance Foundation Hospital. Every thing is done with a protocol but sometimes the staff is very unyielding which can lead to a lot of problems for the patient and the family....especially during time of discharge when only one person is allowed to be with the patient. It may be difficult for one person to manage all the articles and papers in addition to the patient. Some leeway could be given here depending on the case....otherwise our experience of the hospital was excellent.
