Very very irresponsible and unreliable. Also, Food is mediocre. Never order from here if you are having guests. You cannot be assured of delivery. Balan caterers is the same group that runs Palakkad Iyer Kitchen. The positive reviews we see here belong to the owners family and friends.

We had booked Vishu lunch on 15th Apr23 with Palakkad Iyer Kitchen which is run by Balan Caterers. Delivery was promised at 1 PM. The order never turned up. Mr Hariharn did not respond to repeated calls and messages and calls were even disconnected. At 3.40pm some delivery person calls to ask if we still wanted the delivery. After the delivery person was declined Hariharan picked up the call and was totally unapologetic and nonchalant. All he had to do was to inform us in advance that there was a problem, and we wouldve made alternate arrangements. Absolutely horrendous customer experience. Will not touch this establishment again.

Had ordered from them operating under palakad iyers today vishu sadya. I had guests over including very senior citizens. I had placed order few days back , had checked in between and reminded yesterday as well. Not only did they not deliver the food, noone picked up or answered calls made to them and WhatsApp sent to them.Very unreliable and disappointing .
