I had the unfortunate experience of staying at this bungalow property, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. The landlord turned out to be nothing but a deceitful fraud. He made promises of providing amenities such as a dishwasher and a washing machine, but upon arrival, we found no trace of these supposed conveniences. It was clear that he had misled us.

To make matters worse, the bungalow itself was disgustingly dirty, with unkempt and shabby lawn areas. The lack of cleanliness was appalling. When we tried to contact the landlord to address these issues, he conveniently stopped taking our calls after our initial conversation. Can you believe that? We explicitly mentioned that we had two senior citizens and two children with us, yet he showed no concern for our well-being, leaving us stranded in the veranda area.

In a feeble attempt to salvage the situation, the landlord sent some of his local friends to offer us their mediocre hotel rooms. This blatant display of unprofessionalism only resulted in a verbal altercation and wasted two hours of our precious vacation time. Frustrated with the entire ordeal, we managed to retrieve our money and secured a villa nearby at a significantly higher rate.

The only mistake I made was trusting this deceitful landlord and paying him directly instead of booking through a reputable platform like Airbnb .To add insult to injury, a family member of his had the audacity to call me a week later, apologizing for the terrible experience and requesting that I remove my review. Of course, I refused to do so, as I stand by my honest account of the events. It's worth noting that he started posting about it as a means to discredit my review.

I am writing this review again, after four long years, as my previous review mysteriously got edited when I attempted to post an update. The fact that I am revisiting this experience after such a significant amount of time is proof enough of just how bitter and unpleasant it was. I strongly suspect that all the glowing reviews you see are fabricated by the landlord's friends and relatives. Don't fall for their deceptive tactics. Before considering a visit to this property, demand actual photos, with clear dates, of all areas to ensure you don't end up in the same unfortunate situation that I did—if you're daring enough to visit, that is.

a warm family homely atmosphere and simple local authentic maharashtrian food. We wanted to avoid hotels and stay at a place so that we could have the place to ourselves - Sai Villa was a good choice. We stayed in various seasons - I prefer early rainy season (July) and early summers (Feb and Mar). Best for families, they have 4 bedrooms - 8 people along with small kids can stay comfortably. Kids can play in the lawn, we enjoyed cricket and relaxing coffee with a great view. Owner is a very nice and a helpful person. We already carried packaged bottles. We discussed the food menu and ordered the food in advance so that the cook could prep ahead of time. There is no AC but we went on a beautiful days where we had to wear a jacket towards the evening. Great location, its right in between Panchgani and Lake Veena.

Its a relatively easy to reach property and peaceful. Ideal for group of 8 people , 2 people sharing a bedroom each. Ideal for this size of get together.
The food was good and caretaker was hospitable and polite in nature.
Venna lake and Panchgani and lingamala waterfall very close by points.
Garden was not accessible due to heavy rains.
Improvements expected in following areas :
1. Except main hall, bed rooms and bathrooms had very poor lighting. Not enough light. Toilet seats need proper fitting.
2. Rain shelters can be erected to keep the dining area dry. It was wet and we could use it only once.
3. In rainy season they need to provide floor mats for wiping the wet feet.
4. Some electrical sockets were not working.
