Beautiful place. Go early morning so that you get to see nice views.
We had a great time here.
Met one uncle who will show few far distant places through his telescope.
Beauty lies in the eyes pf the beholder.

Beautiful views all round. We went in the evening around 5 PM. Was not crowded also like other points. We were able to get good pictures. We also spotted a Giant Malabar Squirrel and lots of birds. Highly recommended. Road leading to the place is not very gud and its dark and deserted after sunset.

Lodwick Point is situated about 5 km from Mahabaleshwar Bus stand. The point was named after General Lodwick, who was the first British officer to climb the hill in April 1824.

This place has an amazing view. You could feel clouds passing by. Also the sunset view is very picturesque. There is approx. 1 km walking trail leading to the main viewpoint from the parking area. Snacking facilities are also available at the parking lot area only.
