Visited Rankala Lake on 18 Nov 2022 in the evening.

A very pleasant place for relaxation. A boat ride is available at nominal charges.

The Shalini palace looks abandoned .????????
Kolhapur Municipal corporation must revive this historical place and can allow entry to the general public by charging some fee.

Many snacks outlets are available with a lot of food options.

Good place to visit with family .

Good place . Lake is here so feels somewhat better but due to extreme traffic this place is very noisy. I suggest you to come here during day for good time. At evening and night various food stalls available.
