I visited Hotel Opal, Kolhapur after long time in number of years. May be because of my age, I had nostalgia about the old hotel. Now, it is under construction. Definitely, they are increasing the space, parking area, rooms etc with new and modern amenities. The earlier setup was acknowledged by writers, artists and business and family travellers for its coziness.
We as a family visited for a lunch. It was a combination of veg and nonveg. The cost and quantity was not matching. The staff was good in hospitality but given order and served food was not the same, but they rectified immediately. Thanks for acceptance.
There were quite number of tables were occupied but I think it was more for prestige than to get return for your money.
It may be temporary adjustment but waste collection and wash basin were almost at same place, it should have been avoided.
Road divider has made little inconvenience into entry and exit.
The management is requested to earn their old reputation about decorum, quality, quantity. Charges is their choice.

I had biryani with half tandoori chicken. Tandoori was not baked properly & biryani quantity according to price tag was too low & quality also not so good. Overall my point of view is tht instead visit Niyaz Hotel for delicious, tasty, mouthwatering non veg food along wd family & believe me tht wl be worth. M still repenting for my visit in Opal Hotel.

We went for lunch, but as per our expectations we thought the place would be quiet and nice but all the staff made noise and talked very loudly with each other which created disturbance, like they were hanging in the garden, But the food quality is really good, nice taste.

It'll be great if the staff problem will be sorted out, it'll make everyone feel even better and nicer to other customers too.
