Hello Guys,

After listening about the big thali which has been a famous in mumbai and delhi from last few years, the place regiment brought the same concept with a bit smaller version of 30 items in indore, the place is behind malhar or infront of malhar parking. The ambiance of the place gives you the military and army canteen converted to restaurant feeling, which is a different concept and really liked it.

Now talking about the food we ordered a regular sized commando thali which is for 4 person, fron the content of thali i didn't liked any welcone drink which was only served one time.

In starters pav bhaji was good... chat was good... alu tikki was ok in taste and more over it was cold so didn't liked it.

In main course... i liked sev tamato, deal makani, paneer preparation i didn't liked chole and some other items , treat nan, lacha patatha missi roti was good...

Service and hospitality is good, service is slow if your compared to other thali place in Indore like gowardhan thal or panchaati gourav. basically thali system has service really quick and they have to maintain it that way. Second thing rice was served at the start which is eaten at the last so by the time you eat rice it's cold and that we asked to change but the service manager went to bring something and forgot about changing our rice, or if the rice is getting served at the start it should be properly packed so it stays hot for next 30 min or so.

Overall one time visit places for me atleast for now.

I have taken a mini commando thaliwith one extra person(2+1). We have not ordered anything extra apart from one starter and one chapati and lots of food was untouched in the plate. I asked them to pack this stuff so that we can give it to needy person on the way. They refused to do that. when I requested them that it will be useful for some needy person they said we also give it to needy person. But the way they carried plate waste see such a pain.i understood for unlimited system you can't pack the food but we have not asked anything extra and was requested to pack the one which you served initially.

We tried the commando thali of this place and it came for four people, but we couldn’t finish it. The thali was rich in taste and had all the special items of Indore and indori flavours in curries. The curries tend to be on a slightly spicier given the richness of flavours but it still felt so tasty. Even after eating beyond our limits, we were willing to eat more.
