We stayed at Lemon tree in 4 rooms. All the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Each one of them is dedicated towards serving the guests with utmost humbleness and care. The staff at citrus cafe which is the in-house dining centre of the hotel is very humble and show extreme patience while serving the guests. Kudos to them and I wish all the best to Lemon tree and entire staff

Horrible experience at this hotel. Did an early morning check-in after an overnight train trip. When we got to the room, it was blazing hot but we assumed it was just because the A/C was off. The porter turned it on before he left. We were dead tired so we put some water bottles into the fridge and took a nap. Waking up about an hour later in a pool of sweat, the A/C wasn't cooling. To top it off, the fridge wasn't working either.

We stopped by the front desk to inform them of the issue and then left to meet with friends. Returned about 8 hours later only to find out that the A/C still was not working. I went to the front desk where the clerk seemed annoyed but reluctantly switched us to a new room. This room again was hot, but the A/C was off when we got there. We took a quick shower and left to meet up with friends again.

Arrived back to the hotel around 11pm only to find that the A/C and fridge in this room were not working either. Another call to the front desk to request maintenance and a bucket of ice. Maintenance arrived pretty quickly only to respond "it's broke" and proceeded to try to leave. I called him back to fix it. He was able to get it working; however, the room didn't get very cool but it was tolerable. The fridge issue would need to wait until morning. Ice finally arrived but it was only about 12 cubes, about a quarter of the small ice bucket. Calling for more, I was told there were no more ice in the hotel.

Next morning, I requested to speak with a manager. I informed him of the issues and he left to check the room himself, saying he'd return in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting in the lobby, we told the front desk clerk we would return back to the hotel in a few minutes. On returning, we were told the manager would see us in 5 minutes. After waiting another 25 minutes, we see him sneak out the side door and jump on his scooter. His parents must be so proud!

Returning to the hotel that evening, the room was warm but tolerable but the fridge still wasn't working. I decided to remove the fridge and place it outside the door and called the front desk for a replacement. Two maintenance men came to the room and the sarcastic comments ensued. Then they tried to reinstall the broken fridge. I stopped this from occurring so they brought a working replacement.

On top of these issues, the room floor was filthy and we mentioned so it would be mopped the next morning. Of course, this was not done. The room also has a pretty large balcony, but that too was filthy and had no chairs or table to sit, so it was totally unusable.

Positives about the hotel: nice lobby, room was pretty large and they are remodeling. Location was convenient for us. And gotta love those quirky, Lemon Tree dad-jokes!

A neat and tidy boutique kind of hotel. It is centrally located and can be easily accessed by any means of transportation..It has a Mall (shopping arena) exactly opposite to it ..
The in house restaurant is very well maintained and the quality of food is good.. Staff is extremely helpful and competent and are open to your suggestions..They make sure to serve you as per your taste and requirements ... We ordered chilly paneer which we found quite spicy and it was immediately replaced by our next order without any hassle...A big applause specially for chef and the staff serving in the restaurant ..Overall we had a very pleasant stay and we would highly recommend the hotel..
