Must be a magnificent fort of its era...but today only remnants of fortification and 4- 5 stories in a abandoned condition are remaining...good place for spending couple of hours at sunrise and sunset... view of tapti river is awesome !!!

A national heritage site situated on the Tapi river side, Shahi Quila was one of the frequent residences of Mumtaj, Shahjahan's wife.
Nice sculptures and creative artwork on the monuments are the tourists attraction.
The fort was built back in 13th century and has some beautifully crafted rooms and hallways.
