Great time to visit in the winter season (Dec-Feb) especially if you are a bird enthusiast. Several types of storks, kingfishers, egrets, cormorants, ibis, herons. as well as Marsh Harriers were spotted. Smaller birds such as swifts, swallows, munias, weavers, beeeaters are plenty. On the bush side, did spot peafowl with chicks as well. Total heaven during the winter season

Beautiful Kole Wetlands in Thrissur is enough for spending an Evening to enjoy the Sunset. Its just behind the Sobha City and you can see some migratory birds too.
