Virkupurakotta Srikandeshwaram road called Takaraparamb road. This is a two lane traffic road.
Sri Srikanteshwaram Shiva Temple give the name for the area.
There are two parks in the area sri Chatambi swami park and tvm.corporation park.The govt Fort hospital is nearby . There is lots of commercial activity in this area. No bus service here expect when traffic diversion are made in a emergency.
