Good morning Madam,
We , MH Trivandrum had sent blood demand with sample for cross matching for an LSCS patient along with 2 donors ( from whom blood was collected promptly )on 31.03.2023. at 0600 hrs.
Blood was requested to be issued as an emergency for PPH on table for patient, however Asst professor ( who refused to give her name on duty at 1000 hrs ) refused to give blood till gynaecologist talks ( who was operating and trying to control PPH ).
Details of patient mentioned in e mail to principal of mch tvpm.
Delay in issue of blood and transportation from MCH to MH can be disastrous for the patient .
You are requested to look into the matter.
Our soldiers always donate blood whenever it's requested from MCH. Such shabby behaviour is unacceptable from Medical College transfusion medicine department.

even if the staff are busy whole day, they welcome the donors full heartily.
they give utmost care and attention to the donor; which is a good sign of inspiration and motivate them for future donations.
2 apheresis machines are currently available.
it would have been more helpful to the patients if another 2 are also available.

all groups of blood are required in plenty units everyday.
more donors has to come forward and keep donating blood after regular intervals and that too with a charitable attitude.
