Beautiful temple and calmful atmosphere,the temple is just outside the historical Forts of Thiruvananthapuram, the place nearby is also believed to be the cremation grounds of Travancore royals, the popular belief is that the place got its name from the phrase "പിന്നെ വരാം " later corrupted to punnapuram.
