I had a highly disappointing experience at the MI service center that compelled me to share my frustrations and vow never to purchase another MI product again. Let me recount the sequence of events that left me feeling utterly dissatisfied and disheartened.

I own a MI 10T, which unfortunately suffered a cracked back panel after an accidental fall. Eager to have it repaired promptly, I visited the MI service center with hopes of a satisfactory resolution. However, my encounter with the staff there was nothing short of shocking.

Upon inquiring about the replacement back panel, I was informed that they didn't have it in stock. They assured me that it would take 7-10 days to order the necessary part. Fair enough, I thought, and expressed my willingness to wait for the panel to arrive.

To my disbelief, the service center staff insisted that I leave my phone with them until the replacement part arrived. When I questioned this policy, explaining that I rely on my phone for both personal and office use and that I did not have a spare phone, they callously disregarded my concerns.

Their justification for requiring my phone was flimsy at best. They claimed it was necessary for verification of the damage and to ensure a smooth repair process. However, it's difficult to comprehend why they couldn't simply order the replacement part while allowing me to retain my phone until it arrived.

Furthermore, their refusal to provide the service unless I complied with their unreasonable demand only served to exacerbate my frustration. I have been a loyal MI customer from the very beginning, having purchased numerous MI products over the years. Yet, their lackluster service and dismissive attitude have shattered any semblance of trust and loyalty I had for the brand.

It is truly disheartening to witness such a steep decline in the quality of service offered by MI. As a customer, I expected better treatment and more accommodating solutions, especially given my long-standing association with the brand. This experience has unequivocally convinced me to sever all ties with MI and refrain from purchasing any of their products in the future.

I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider their decision to invest in MI products. The service provided at the MI service center was utterly disappointing, and the demand to submit my only phone for an extended period, without any viable alternatives, was completely unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and opt for a brand that values its customers and provides reasonable and customer-centric solutions.

The shop is easily accessible and situated at the Kesavadasapuram roundabout. The experience was smooth and excellent when I went there to replace the battery on an MI phone.

I called them to inquire about their availability and other information. They were helpful. When I went, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Additionally, if your phone only needs a minor patch, you can wait in the air-conditioned waiting area while it is being fixed.

I came here to repair my MI band which was out of warranty. Officially, the only solution is to just replace it by buying another one. The staff Mr Ashwin, went up an extra mile and suggested me the right software on my phone and fixed the issue with the band. If he just said this is out of warranty, I would have just thrown this away, and bought a new one. Thank you Ashwin for the great support.
