The place is crowded still the facilities can cover up the needs of public.Cost perse it's just like any other private place ,u won't get any concession or off.

I had a chill down my spine when my orthopedician prescribed an MRI scan for the lumbar spine . I am by nature very claustrophobic and hence could not imagine myself lying in a closed tunnel for about half an hour. But then that was the only investigation possible to get to the root of my siatica. I called up many scan centres and the best response was received from Mr Siju, the PRO at Metro Scans and Laboratory,Trivandrum. He alleviated my fears with a lot of data and suggested 3 Tesla MRI so as to have a tunnel of a wider diameter. He followed up with the MRI 3 T team comprising Dr. Manoj. KS (Consultant Radiologists) and the tech operating staff (Sumesh. Jayakumar.
Vinu) . On the D Day, I was received warmly and the team rendered all possible mental and physical support as I entered the tunnel, feet first . Mr Vinu held my hand as my whole body and head was drawn into the tunnel.
The machine was state of the art and the Banging. Clicking. Whirring sounds were not as loud as expected. Thanks to metro for alleviating my claustrophobia and for a seamless experience with a perfect blend of machine and the team

I must say, this place has seen significant improvements. In the past, the staff used to be arrogant, but nowadays, they value every review, and their attitude has noticeably changed. They offer a wide range of tests and scans. It appears that they have tie-ups with doctors and provide commissions. Additionally, the rates might vary based on whether you come from a private hospital or a government hospital and also depend on the doctor who prescribed the tests. If you find the tests here expensive, I recommend visiting the Hindlab Diagnostic Center inside the Medical College SAT Hospital, which is under the central government, where the rates are nearly half.
