Homely environment. Neat kitchen. Friendly aunty managing the restaurant.
I had tuna fried rice, which was good. ( Tastes similar to chicken / egg fried rice itself, but good to eat).
Tuna fried rice : Rs 140
Chicken fried rice : Rs 140
Prices as per January 2023
Only biriyani and fried rice of a regular restaurant might be available, rest of the foods will be of Maldivian cuisine. Planning to taste them the next visit..

Perfect place for Maldivian dishes in Trivandrum. Amazing experience! Meenamma is friendly, kind and always serve with a smiling face! She does amazing job of describing anything of the Maldivian dishes. We tried Rihaakuru, Huniroshy
Rice tuna soup, tuna smoked
Smoked tuna fried rice and everything was de-li-cious! Highly recommended for Maldivian food????️

A cute little place. Found it while browsing Google maps. Caught my eye among all the usuals since it offered a different cuisine. If you're open to stepping out of your comfort zone (not like some adventurous Bourdain zones but in terms of usual Indian masalas and preps), then do visit this place. I went twice during my 2.5 day trip to TVM. The first time, I had the mas huni (chopped tuna + chillies, onions and the like) with the Maldivian flatbread (their roti) - I liked it very much. The next day, I had the amazing tuna soup with rice. It's basically boiled tuna in a clear soup. The rice is served plain garnished with drumstick leaves. There's a fish fry, chutney + salad on the side. You pour the broth over the rice, then pile all other items on it and mix it all up. (The owners are very sweet and will explain how to do this). Some might be tempted to call it "bland" depending on their preferences. But I would call it flavourful - subtly rich.
