Working hours: 8am-8pm. On sundays, till 1pm only. Fresh fish, especially big ones are available. A small fee is charged for cutting and cleaning the fish. Waiting time for that alone takes 15-20 minutes. Parking area at the front side is limited to a few vehicles. However, there is an open ground behind CSI Christ Church where parking can be done. Dont forget to carry bag to collect the fish.

Upto some level food (Fish) adulteration is less at this shop. They will arrange cleaning of fish which you have purchased. Packing cover is also available for two rupees.
Cleaning facility is not available for small fishes like Natholi, Matthi.

This shop run by Matsyafed, Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Ltd. You can buy fresh fish, fish pickles etc from this shop. Not too much costly. Price is moderate. Only frozen fish will be available, not live fish.
