Was a great school famous for good discipline and coaching till 2005. But after that it's fame went little down.The teachers are very compassionate. The management should pay them appropriately .It has the largest playground in the district. But sad that its now remaining unused. Management should clear it and should make it useful for the children there. There are many famous people who studied there. Now an alumni association including all the students from 1974 to 2017 is formed to recapture the lost fame of this institution. Hope the institution will regain its top position within 2-3 years. The school was famous for producing some of the best kids in Trivandrum, but recently its fame down poured due to bad management. Teachers are not properly paid, due to which many good teachers quit and out of the rest, most teach here just work for the sake of it. Students are unnecessarily pressurized and restricted for no reason. Recently, the support for extra curricular activities are also low and general maintenance like road, building etc are pathetic.

I did my schooling here from '94 to '06. The school was most famous in the '80s and '90s as they had twice secured first rank in SSLC exam during this period. There was a time when MMRHSS was arguably the best school situated on the other side of the Karamana river. This school was an integral part of my childhood. At the time, there was no compound wall. The five star rating is only based on my personal experience when I was studying here.
