So peaceful.
Such a calm atmosphere and divine feel you will get here. The beach side gives an additional beauty to this classic church and its great art works. The church have a silent divine feel inside it.

A blessed place of worship for people of all religions. You can feel the inner peace when you are there. And the artwork is amazing, especially the wood carvings. Highly recommend if you are in trivandrum

Vettukad Church is one of the famous Christian churches in Trivandrum, Kerala. It is a very calm place to pray and we get a good divine feeling.

The church has been renovated recently and the interior of the church has been greatly beautified. In the past, St. Francis Xavier is said to have visited here. Every year, the church festival is celebrated for 10 days in the month of November. The authorities have arranged proper car parking facilities.

There is a statue of Christ the King outside the church. If you look closely, you can see something like a king's crown on its head. There are places to light candles, and to get holy water and oil. One thing that I noticed different from other churches is the sacred thread. If you pray and tie the thread in your hand, the thread will be broken by the time that wish is fulfilled.

The fact that the church is so close to the beach makes it even more beautiful. In the evening, we can spend time with activities like watch lighted boats with nice breeze, have snacks, do shopping, etc.
