Great experience in life ... forest island spread over 10 acres.....lions were kept here in natural conditions... earlier there are several lions now only 2 of them.... accessible only through boat of forest department... available from neyyar dam top... through dam catchment area amazing view of water and forest... forest department buses inside forest island.. they pick us and ply to dwelling place of lion...there is a feeding point for lion.too..nice experience..

Ticket charge is very high . Release
the elephants. They are very tired .

It's a decent spot for spending some time in trivandrum. They had more number of lions previously, but it has reduced to two now. And that too the lions are not in their best physical forms. We get to see the lions up close, but again a lot could be done to maintain the condition of the lions.
