There is no entry fee. Entry time is in between 11 Am to 4 PM. There are 2 museums inside the legislature assembly complex. The older one is built in the 19th century was a military hospital transformed museum. It contains the details of political history and artifacts, diaries, used by famous ministers, speakers and cheif ministers etc. The other one is new museum titled after the former Speaker of Kerala, Shri.G.Karthikeyan . It has comparatively modern facilities including a Gandhi smrithi Room, Constitution room , gifts received by AK Antony etc.

This is a fairly modern museum located near the Kerala Legislative Assembly building. Displays include information on the modern political history of Kerala and information on the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi. There is an extensive display of gifts and items received by A K Antony who was the longest serving Defense Minister of India.
The entry to the museum is fraught with confusion and disorganization. We were only able to enter the museum after multiple attempts. The rotating security personnel at the gate do not seem to know how to direct visitors to the museum. They are also confused about letting in foreigners.
A police officer inside wasn't sure if the T-shirt and half pants I was wearing violated any dress codes. He wanted to make me wear full on trousers. I refused. Anyway they finally let us in.
Their is an older more traditional building next to the museum which was under renovation and we could not visit.
