What a cute little temple right in the middle of the city! I'm ashamed to say that I've never been to this temple before, despite having spent so many years in Thiruvananthapuram.

You can park on M G Road directly in front of the temple space permitting. The location is such that the parking area can get extremely busy at most times.

The main idol is, of course Lord Dharmasastha. Alongside Him, within the garbhagriha, you can see a small idol of Lord Ganesha (sitting on the right hand side of the main deity when seen from the idol's perspective) and also Nagaraja idols behind them. This area where the main deity is consecrated has a peculiarity in that there is no roof: it is just open to the elements.

A little further away, an idol of Lord Shaneeshwara can be seen and the Shaneeshwara ashtotharam is displayed on the wall beside the idol. Another set of naga idols can be seen again opposite the main deity.

There is a lovely Shanghupushpam tree within the compound.

The aravana prasadam is delicious!
