Isalayam is a very authentic, original and truly ashram. You learn and experience so much while staying there and taking classes with H.H. Jagadguru Swami Isa - from very practical matters like the joy one can feel by serving and caring for others up to a highly individual sadhana. It is possible to take part in the daily pujas and Swamijis Satsangs, readings and practical interpretations of the holy scriptures. You really can learn how to balance your life for reaching the highest goal of self-realization. I will come back again for sure and I highly recommend the experience of staying at Isalayam when you are looking for real knowledge.

If you are searching for peace, this is the proper place.
I have been there several times and after getting immersed in the daily activities it seems that I have enough from India, I do not need to see other places.
Every time I come back home from the ashram; I feel myself regenerated. It is like getting rid of old clothes and dressing bright new ones.

Anyone who is interested in meeting and learning from a real master is welcome at Isalayam Ashram. His Holiness Swami Isa has been here since the 1990's, and now has a school, a charitable trust, a higher education center, as well as yoga centers in other countries. The knowledge tumbling out of him is so new, so profound, and so simple, a child can understand it. He has a way of explaining the spiritual and the scientific aspects to bring the heart and the mind together.
Swami Isa is easy to talk to, but please make sure you respect the traditional vedic customs in the Ashram. You should wear appropriate clothing.
Every evening Swami Isa gives a satsang (class) in both Malayalayam (local language) and English at 6:30 or 7pm, after the daily ritual of Agni Hotra.
There are daily and monthly yoga trainings. Yoga Teacher Training courses are also offered, taught directly by Swami Isa.
