I had the opportunity to visit Indian Institute of Diabetes at Pulayanarkotta a few days before. I happened to bring my parents for a diabetic checkup. I can undoubtedly say that the facility is a boon for the common people.
If the concerned authorities take due notice of certain aspects the institution could become a center of excellence.

# I noticed people from far and wide flocking at the hospital reception for appointments. Even though token system was used, there seem to be a lack of proper management.
# There is limited access for public transport facility.
# There was hardly anyone to assist physically impaired patients.
# A few of the staff were unfriendly to the customers. # Very few trash bins were used.
# As the institution is primarily meant for diabetes, patients need to check fasting and after food blood levels. Hence a hygienic canteen facility is a must in such an organization. Unfortunately, the canteen facility was far from meeting any expectations.

Inspite of all these limitations, the doctors were par excellence and is doing their best.Their skill and patience are exemplary, especially when you look at the number of patients they attend to on any single day.

Good service for my grandfather.. . Little rude to visitors why??? Actually during the operation time my grandfather is needed to be taken to operation theatre by them. At that time they said the van is not available so They told me to take my car . Before that when I went to see my grandfather just myself for looking and if he is ok . And asking any further requirements the staffs there were misbehaved due covid no one is allowed. But at that time of operation where is covid ... All gone????. Should change the behaviour. Otherthan that it's ok....
