Went here last day after booking online through E-Health portal. According to the pdf file received in the booking, it was given to report at 7.30 am in the slot which starts at 9 am. When we reached there at 7.30 there was no one at the OP counter. When I went inside, the sister who was there told me that normally this is where they gives the OP token but it is done by the people of the social service section but I can't guarantee that they will come. When I asked the next option for that, they said wait till 8.30, no one came and go to the main OP token collection place inside the hospital and collect the token from there. They dont have precision and clarity in the system that works there.

But at 8.30 the person came to give the token anyway. By coming early, the token taken online was changed from 12 to 8. At 9.30 the doctor arrived. A junior doctor took the token from the hands of the people standing there and went inside. Later, the inspection started from 9.30, but the calls were not made according to the token. Many who came after me go up. They spent more time teaching junior doctors than looking after patients. Maybe that's their way, but I personally don't think it's right to devote more time to studying than to looking after patients when so many people are waiting with children. As soon as it seemed that the token call was not correct, people started to queue up to the doctor's room and there was no one to co-ordinate all this.

At the 9th counter, which started at 9.30, I was able to get in at around 11.15 and only 3 tokens were called. The rest of the doctors called the token in the meantime. As I stood I saw the number 36 token coming and checking them. When I asked the junior doctors who were sitting there about the token system, instead of listening to our concerns, they replied that this is how it will be done here. Mostly uneducated people come here so token system will not work. Then when asked why the token, the answer was "You don't understand what we are saying". I don't want to blame the doctors there but their token facility is very bad. Doing business as they see fit. In between, most of the time is taken for the studies of the junior daughters. There is no cost to patients' time. I don't know why there is an online token facility, there is no benefit.

I boarded at 11.15 and when I left there it was 11.45. Meanwhile, many people were coming and going. On my way back, I saw a long queue. According to my knowledge, the examination time will be barely 1.15 hours ends at one o'clock. How are they going to check so many people at this time??

Anyway I had to think about moving from a medical college with such talented and experienced doctors to a private hospital. It is only because the token system introduced by the government is not followed in a proper way.
