I recently had the pleasure of visiting Palakkad Fort in the evening, and it proved to be a delightful experience. This historic fort not only offers a glimpse into the past but also provides a serene and airy atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely walk and a breath of fresh air.

As I entered the fort, I was immediately struck by its architectural beauty and rich historical significance. The well-preserved fort walls, bastions, and gateways exuded a sense of grandeur and stood as a testament to the region's cultural heritage. It was fascinating to explore the various sections of the fort, each with its own story to tell.

It's a great place to visit. There is a moat with different fishes and tortoises. There is also a Hanuman temple. We have to do a lot of walking and climbing. There are good view points. It's maintained well. It can be more friendly towards the seniors, like providing more ramps.

Hello everyone, I have visited this place on Friday evening. The entry fee was Rs. 25 per person. Fort was maintained cleaned, here there are some building built in 17's and there is one temple inside the fort. While entering the fort we can see the fort is bordered by water and we can see lot of tortoise ???? in it. So this will be a not too entertaining visit, just a casual visit to our history place.
