I went there to meet my friend. It is an old vintage-style hotel and rooms are available at affordable prices. The rooms are clean and hygienic even though it is one of the oldest hotels in Kozhikode city.

It's a very old hotel. But the rooms have been refurbished.
1. Rooms are cheap @ ₹ 200 per day for single room.
2. Close to Palayam stand and railway station.
3. Indian Coffee House on the ground floor.
4. If you visit the hotel for a few times, they will give preference to you (for booking as well as choice of rooms)
Rooms in the top floor are warmer than on the ground floor though. I'd definitely choose this place if I had to stay in Calicut on a budget.
