Established in 1987,Sree Narayana Public School(SNPS) is a Co-ed school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).The school has Grades from 1 to 12&they have an attached Pre-Primary section.English is the medium of instruction.

SNPS is managed by Sree Narayana Educational Society.The School is located in a beautiful&spacious campus and is one of the leading schools in Kollam.They have attained great heights in the field of education over the past years &have excelled in the areas beyond academics.

I am a former student at this school, I passed my 12th in 2023 and I joined here in first standard. So according to me this is a quite average school obviously not the best in kollam, the school has a very less interest in sports activities, their only intrest is in getting the maximum amount of money and maybe giving mental torture to some students obviously. I have 93% in my 12th exam (science stream) and I'm very sure of what I'm saying.
MERITS___
*Good faculty (obv not everyone) and teaching.
*Good library
*Good class notes and it's very convenient to ask questions and clear doubts to most of the teachers, most of the time.
*Slight chance of getting good friendship.
DEMERITS___
*Not of a value equal to the amount of school fees.
*Very bad at sports activities and games , yes we have pt periods, but they just let us play something, not interested in teaching or training and if there's some kind of athletic meet or something they just conduct the selection process just 1 week before and maybe give 2 to 3 days of training.
*The majority of teachers just want to be bolder and maybe very strict for no reason and just show a false and irritating strict attitude towards children for very unnecessary reasons.
* Very strict for no reason if they had invested their time in just understanding and going along with the children rather than just irritating and torturing them, the school would have been really great.
*N.G BABU sir was pretty nice and strict, still I would say strict for useless reasons.
*From my 6th standard onwards to my 12th , no school tours at all , maybe for our batch still there's no tour and if there's any kind of school tour plans it would most probably be set for 1 day.
*And if there's any kind of nice plans or anything good from the students perspective, there's always a toxic group of teachers who would do everything to spoil it by saying what they are doing is nice for the students and which is clearly not.
*Our school basketball court (2023) was only paint on an interlock, not a real basketball court.
*Even restrictions to the canteen food.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a very bad experience with the admission process and service at the school. It is concerning that the Headmistress of the school informed you that all seats were sold long before the admission process, which implies a lack of transparency and fairness in the admission process.
very bad admission process and service. The HM asked me that all seats are sold long long before, some other workers in the same institution give the information that they are selling the seat for huge amount after the regular admission process done
