The place is an awesome viewpoint during the sunrise. People planning to go there should reach there before the sunrise and should also see the point in the dark it looks awesome with fog and little lights coming from houses and all. You should see the sunlight coming and enjoy the transition. After the sunrise, there isn't much to see.

Its a far view from a road side. Ideal for morning visit before sunrise. Completely covered with fogg and mist. Extremely free visit.
Unfortunately when i visited the place it was completely raining. The condition was too bad people who came on two wheeler. Cant find a shelter near the area.
Otherwise a good positive and a silent spot

One of the best place to visit in Kollam. Those who love to enjoy the beauty of the nature, visit to this place will be worth. In best of my knowledge the beautiful sceneries can be viewed from morning 5 to late by 6:30. Traveling by car to this place is not good in my opinion because the path to this location is a narrow one ( Pavement width of approx 3.5m ). If two cars come across each other it would be difficult to pass each other. There is no such entry fee or payment needed to made at this location.
