Visited this station multiple times and is one of the busiest stations in Kerala with good set of amenities for passengers. They should improve on waste management by placing dustbins on all platforms instead of few. Passengers suffering to dump waste on stations. The station code is QLN, is the second largest railway station in Kerala in terms of area and largest in terms of number of tracks and one of the oldest railway stations in Kerala. It is also the second busiest railway station in Kerala in terms of trains handled per day. World's third longest railway platform is also on this station. Few pics from my recent visit. Thank you

Longest platform of South India, second in India and the world. Most important junction in south Kerala as it offers trains to almost all parts of India. Peaceful and courteous staff. Frequent train availability. Home to Memu shed. Aptly located with the south gate opening to City and North gate adjacent to National Highway.
