Had an amazing experience.
Pros - just 2800for an AC suite room. 2 Air conditioners, 2 Tv s, Bathtub, a living space and King size bed.
Directly opposite to Railway Station.
Neat rooms, nice staff.
2 star hotel with Bar and Restaurant.

Now I have stayed in this hotel like 10 years back it was fine. But this time we had to use the restaurant for breakfast in the morning not for stay while drive from TVM. As expected it was crowded due to railway station being beside.

Now with waiter who was doing one man show of going back and forth inside the kitchen for orders, water, billing etc.. it was taking ages for a dish being served as well. Overall they have done extreme lean staffing and people were complaining and walking off as well. It took about an hour to get the food literally. Now to avoid further delay, I went to the cash counter, told the items of purchase and paid the bill. It was that pathetic... taste wise the food was good but time being wasted for high pricing was not worth it.

Hotel Rail View is really extraordinary with the most Hygenic and friendly atmosphere from reception to housekeeping. Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel environment is also good with good food and service. It's on the Kollam railway platform no1. Light house is open from 9am to Evening 6pm.
