I had ordered a cake from CakesKart's website and had chosen for it to be delivered at the earliest possible time as mentioned.

About 45mins after placing the order, I got a call from them saying that it would not be possible to deliver at the said time (6pm) as they had a lot of orders for retirement functions - this is totally understandable and I appreciate them for giving me a heads-up about the same. They said they would deliver it by 7.15pm, and definitely no later than 7.30pm. The delivery guy finally came at about 8pm, but then informed that they had made a mistake with order and they had brought the wrong cake!

He assured us that they will bring the right one in 5mins as their shop is nearby. The cake was finally delivered at 8.30pm. And every time we contacted them for an update, they said "5mins" like it meant nothing.

This could just be my experience, but I was utterly disappointed about the communication from their end and their inefficiency in delivering the order.

The cake was good - yes; no doubt in that! But they need to communicate properly to the customers and not take up orders that they cannot fulfill.

Cake was fresh and timely delivered and overall very good customer service with reasonable and affordable price...thanks to cakeskart????
