St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Church, Kalamassery

We saw this beautiful Church & architecture from the main road as it was raining & busy to attend our Sunday Mass at the St. Mary's Catholic Church also around this area. My friend who works at the hotel we stayed is a member f this Church & told us that there are many Jacobite Christians lives around this area & every Mass is full house. He also told us that the participants have to stand all the way through the Mass, very different from our Catholic tradition. However, it's interesting to not that most of the Catholic traditions are inclusive.

The only Jacobite church in Kalamassery area situated near the highway. The church has good space inside and a good hall for conducting all ceremonies. They also have a good parking space outside the church. There is a Homio clinic within the church.

The church community is really good, they have a good service and prayers.

A very nice church situated to the side of the National Highway and you can spot from the roadside. There is ample space for parking. Since it is situated on the roadside and at a junction, there is a small issue with the traffic. The church has a great ambience and is one of the best in the ernakulam area.
