It is a well-known landmark that serves as a haven for cruise enthusiasts and is managed by the Kerala State Inland Navigation Corporation. It is kept under lock and key on public holidays as in the Independence Day, on August 15th. The building and its premises are well guarded and well maintained as well. The amenities found there were self-assuring for the potential boat travellers since it's instituted for the safety of the passengers.

Good service by the staff.. The road to the terminal from the parking lot is not well maintained.. There are no proper roads. Also there are no street lights, so it's pitch dark when you finish your sunset cruise and head back home. Can make it a better place and thus the scope of tourism can be improved.
