Definitely worth a visit. There are daily kathakali shows and if you reach earlier you can even see the artists painting their faces.
It's a treat and quite an interesting show!

The performance was amazing, costed about 500 rupees for the kathakali show alone per person. We got to watch through the artists doing their make up, followed by an explanation of the skit and the actual skit itself. The explanations were clear and concise. A must go too and a must experience if you’re keen about knowing more of the local culture.
