Well worth the visit. The ticket counter is near the entrance. You can either choose to walk all the way up there or you can also drive up there too. They let us drive up there since we had our grandparents who could not walk up the hill. The palace itself is very well maintained. The interior and the tiles on the floor are fantastic. The gardens are good too. You can easily spend an hour there for sure. I would highly recommend it.

It was a really good experience visiting hill palace museum.A combination of kerala and dutch architecture is mainly seen in the construction of the palace. In addition lot of constructional styles taken from all around the world is seen throughout the palace compounds even in the garden constructions ,fountains ,bathing areas etc.The palace is kind of well maintained even today with lot of employees for cleaning and other works. The museum is a very large plot with a huge palace building with additional small buildings, long walkways, deer conservatory and so on. A really good space to spend some time learning a lot of history and just relax.

A royal home to commemorate the antiquity, history and diversities of different rituals.A combination of different generations... historic avenues.... Awesome beautiful structures. Magnificent and regal ancient buildings...well maintained gardens and plants...awesome sights too many to see in a day. This palace, which is the breath of life of this royal city, is a must see at least once.
